Privacy Policy
Effective August 24, 2026. This policy applies to The Ogburn Online School's website. It describes what we collect when you browse this site or submit an enrollment inquiry, who receives that information, and how to reach us about it.
Information You Give Us
Our inquiry and enrollment forms ask for your first and last name, email address, and phone number, along with the grade level you are asking about, the state and country you are in, and when you would prefer us to call. They are addressed to the parent or guardian making the inquiry, and the contact details we ask for are yours — we do not ask for a student's name, email address or phone number. We use this information to contact you about enrolling and to answer your questions. Providing it is voluntary, but we cannot respond to an inquiry without a way to reach you.
When you submit a form you also agree to be contacted at the phone number you provide, including by automated technology, as stated beside the submit button on the form itself.
Information Collected Automatically
When you use this site we record your IP address, your browser's user agent string, the pages you view, the site or advertisement that referred you, and the address of the page you first landed on. If you arrived from an advertisement, that address contains an advertising click identifier which we store with it.
We store this technical information together with your name, email address and phone number when you submit a form, so that we can tell which advertisements and pages lead to enrollment inquiries. It is not anonymous or held separately from the rest of your information.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
This site sets advertising and analytics cookies, not just cookies needed to operate the site. They include Google Analytics identifiers, a Google Ads click identifier that persists for about 90 days, and CallRail identifiers that persist for about 180 days. They let us measure how the site is used and attribute inquiries to the advertising that produced them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, but our measurement will be incomplete.
You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit with Google's opt-out browser add-on, and control how Google personalizes the advertising it shows you in Google Ad Settings.
Third Parties Who Receive Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do share it with service providers who act on our behalf:
- Google Analytics and Google Ads receive information about your visit and about inquiries, so we can measure which advertising works. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Microsoft Advertising receives conversion information for advertising we run on Bing. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- CallRail provides our call tracking. It replaces the phone number displayed on this site so that calls can be attributed to the advertisement or page you came from, and it records information about forms submitted on the site. See CallRail's Privacy Notice.
- Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise runs on our forms to distinguish real visitors from automated abuse. It collects device and behavior information and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our students, families or staff.
Phone Calls
Calls to the phone numbers shown on this site are handled through our call tracking provider, and may be monitored or recorded for quality and training purposes. If you would prefer not to be recorded, please tell the admissions representative at the start of the call, or contact us by email instead.
Children's Privacy
This website is written for parents and guardians researching a school for their child, not for children. Our programs serve students of all ages, including PreK and Kindergarten, but nothing on this site is designed to appeal to or be used by a child: the pages address the adult making the inquiry, and the forms ask only for that adult's name, email address and phone number. We do not request a student's name or contact information anywhere on this site. The grade level we ask about identifies the program you are inquiring about, not a particular child.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We cannot verify the age of someone filling in a form, so we treat every submission as coming from an adult. If you believe a child has submitted their information to us, contact us using the details below and we will delete it.
Security
Information you submit through this site is encrypted in transit using TLS. We host our systems on Google Cloud Platform rather than operating our own servers, and rely on Google's physical and infrastructure security controls. Internally, access to personal information is limited to staff who need it to do their jobs.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Accessing, Correcting or Deleting Your Information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call us at (888) 729-6156 or email info@ogburnonline.com. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before acting on the request, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If you no longer wish to hear from our admissions team, tell us on a call or by email and we will stop contacting you.
